Individual Sponsorship Letter (please proof-read/give advice)

I thank you and your staff for the perfect smile that has increased my self-confidence, energy and beauty. To celebrate these healthy cavity-free pearly whites, I have decided to register as a San Diego competitor in this year’s Miss Teen California International 2007 beauty pageant. It is my wish to let the world know of the happiness and joy of having great teeth; and what better way than perfecting them than through your services!

There are moderately high entrance fees and preparation costs, as it is a high quality, prominent and respected pageant. I am here to ask for a sponsorship and/or financial donation in return for a great advertisement and free cruise certificates for you and your company.

If I succeed in gaining the crown and its responsibilities, I will be able to reign as a representative of my area and my sponsors, as well as pursuing a platform that will immensely help all kinds of people in our diverse community: How to Gain More Positive and Beneficial Energy Through Changing Lifestyles.

I know that not only this community but this world is tired and running on quick-fix fake energy (such as coffee and “energy” drinks filled with caffeine) to put them through a day; they’re half-awake, half-alive, impatient and waiting for this mysterious positive and beneficial energy to fill their lives so that they can become happier and live their lives more fully. I have studied the topic extensively and presented it as a project in my junior year and hope to continue it more extensively as my platform and senior project. Energy is something that can be taught, and I want to publicly speak out to give even a few tips to help people in all communities, not just our own, and for all people to benefit great energy even as I now have, just from small changes in our lifestyle.

Right now the MegaNova corporation encourages any financial donation on my behalf, and so they are eagerly assisting me through free cruise certificates that will be great gifts to you and all of your employees. For each donation of $25.00 you will receive a free cruise certificate. If you wish to buy a page ad (advertisement), then that is a great option as well. Each delegate from all over California will receive a program book with pictures and all the sponsorship page ads. There are hundreds of cities available to be represented at this pageant for the California title, which means more publicity for you.

A full page of advertisement is not the only option available to you, there are half pages and even business card-size advertisements (though there are two ½ pages in a page ad, and six business cards in a single page ad). These advertisements run from $50 for a single business card slot, $150 for a half-page ad, and $300 for a full-page ad. A portion of these payments for page advertisement will aid me in my preparation and entrance expenses, and a lot of recognition from the judges that will push my chances towards winning the crown. This makes your advertisements worth more since everyone will be dying to know where to get a winning smile!

The pageant dates are October 26-29, 2006 and the advertisement's deadline is coming up on September 15, 2006 since the program books have to be made. The earlier you send in your response with any donations if you choose, the more beneficial it will be. There is a card and pre-stamped and pre-paid envelope provided so that you may respond at no cost.
