Hello all,
I am new here in this forum. I am glad that I found this website and I hope I can improve my english. My english knowledge is very, very bad and my grammar terrible. I am sorry for that but I try my best. Smile [:)]

It would be great if someone could correct my letter. Thank you very much! Froggi

Dear Sir or Madam

I would like to apply for a Working Holiday Visa for Japan from January 2007 until December 2007.

I am 23 yrs old graphic designer (University ***) and work as an advisor for art and graphical material. Besides i am working as an instructor for painting courses.

I always have been interested in asian culture. Especially during the Olympic Winter Games in Nagano 1998 I became specialised in Japan. I developed my interest in the japanese language and culture more and more. I studied japanese language on my own, in Feburary 2005 and in August 2006 I took Japanese Language Classes.
Because i want to improve my language skills i would like to study at Language school during the first 3 month besides work and traveling.

I am keen to travel in order to understand japanese culture and lifestyle more. At last this already has brought me to Japan as a tourist twice (March 2006, September 2006) for 2 weeks at a time.

I really liked being there. I got to know wonderful friends and had the possibilty to gain an insight in japanese family and there traditional/daily life.

Furthermore i am very interested in japanese handicrafts and would like get to know different crafts, e.g. shodo, ikebana, pottery. For me, as a designer, it would be helpful to gather international experience.

Now I am particularly excited about understanding the japanese culture more, take part in daily life and gain an insight into working life.

Yours faithfully

Try this and note the changes:
