 Can I write:

To make a money jar, we need a jam bar, a cover, painbrush, cutter, cloth and some acrylic paint.

First, wash the jam bar throughly. Then, wipe it with a piece of cloth. After that, use a sharp cutter to make a rectangular hole on the cover. We need a brush to paint some colourful pictures to make it attractive.

Them we put it out from / of the house and dry it under the sun. After an hour, the money jar is ready to be used.

(i) We can start collecting coins to put in the moneyjar.

(ii) We can start saving money to insert / to put the coins in it.

(ii) We can start collecting money by putting / inserting coins in it.

What's a jam bar?    What's a painbrush?  Please click Preview and read your sentences before posting, Vincent.  You can correct many mistakes yourself before asking us to do it.

Painbrush is a typo, actually is paintbrush.
