Hello,

1. Seelu did not catch a cold.

I  have to  write interogative sentence using "Did".

a) Did Seelu catch a cold?

b) Did Seelu not catch a cold?

Which one is correct  (a) or (b)?

2. He gave me a book.

a) Did he give you a book?

b) Did he give me a book?

Which one is correct?

Hi Hanuman. I would say in the first one, the a) and in the second one, it depends: who's saying "He gave me a book"?, if you're saying it is b). If is not you, is a)

Correct me if I'm wrong plz.

Both a and b are correct for the first sentence. "Did Seelu catch a cold ?" is interrogative and "Did Seelu not catch a cold?" (or Didn't Seelu catch a cold?) is negative interrogative.

The questions at 2) are both correct, depending who's saying it (but it should be "me" if it's a direct conversion to interrogative).
