| It is pretty obvious what is going on. Britain is trying to establish justification for going to war! The boat concerned was doing its best to get the attention of the Iranians! It had been in in Iranian waters for hours! |
|
Are you suggesting that the British crew essentially volunteered themselves for capture?
What a scam! The whole thing has been manufactured! Complete ***! Iran is not hurting anyone, as far as I can see. Leave her alone! Stop this idiotic, evil, warmongering! |

If the whole thing's been manufactured, then to what end? It seems to me that if that were indeed the case then Iran and Britain must be acting in accordance with one another, and I find that pretty hard to believe.
Assuming that they truly are at odds, then Iran is actually "hurting anyone" as far as I can see. No matter who's at fault, you cannot deny that this whole dilemma has caused suffering. Detaining citizens of a sovereign nation, especially military personnel, during times of peace is always going to ruffle feathers in the international community no matter the reason. In taking captives Iran has put the burden of proof on itself. The onus is on them to prove that the British were indeed violating their territorial waters, and so far they have not done so.
