What's the meaning of 'iritate the stomach'? make you sick to your stomach?

"Acetaminophen, in contrast with/to aspirin, does not iritate the stomach"

Thanks!

"irritate" is not making it sick, it is only disturbing it for a while

Cause a problem to the stomach, not necessarily as far as making you sick. Aspirin makes the stomach lining sore and can (I believe) worsen stomach ulcers.

Should be 'irritate'. I hope I'm not irritating you by pointing out the spelling error. I believe it is a typo.

Hi New2grammar

Just fine. I enjoy irritating people who enjoy being irritated.
