Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to apply for a position as XXXXX (Ref: XXXXX) in XXXXX which was advertised on XXXXX on DD/MM/YY.
I am a responsible and persistent person who values integrity and team spirit highly. With my outgoing and positive personalities, I am easy to get involve into a group or activities. Besides this, I am confident with my problem solving, analytical and communication skills. Although problems may seem complex in some cases, I never give up at anytime. I always try my best to solve it in the first place and if it cannot be solved by me, I would ask for others’ helps. Basically, I always fulfill what I have promised to be done.
My ambition is to become a financial consultant. Being a XXXXX is no doubt the best position that I can have for my first career. Working in such a challenging and demanding area can provide me with a lot of experience. Providing different clients with different solution is attractive to me because I can gain more than just a standard office work.
Besides the degree that I obtained the university, I have passed a LCCI Accounting (third level) examination in year 2000. Also, I have advanced knowledge in office’s application such as Excel, Access and Word. Moreover, my intermediate knowledge in Visual basics and SQL may be applicable on the position.
Thank you for your consideration and I am available at anytime for any interview.
Yours faithfully,
Guest

Not bad however,
You only have one personality not personalities (I hope!).
You should tell them which degree you have.
I would personally move the first paragraph to the end. You need to make them start considering you because you are qualified for the post before they will worry about whether you will fit in or not.
