A haunted house is usually a house set up for people to visit for fun, or a house that people think is haunted, and so is called a haunted house. You might be excited to go to visit a haunted house, but you would not go haunted housing.

People might say "go haunted housing" as sort of a joke.  When I go out to visit a bunch of garage sales, I sometimes call it "garage saling."
