I think it's imposible bcause of the high costs that the companies had to face up to form their employees in this new language. You only have to think what happened with japanese in the seventies. japan people learnt english, no on the contrary.

One needs to know "world" history... The Americas were "colonized" by the English, Portuguese, Spaniards and the French.  EVERYONE of these groups "killed" and unequivocally forced the "natives" to "conform".  Read "Genocide Denial and North American Academia" , published October 12th, 2007: an ongoing battle!

But as you zeroed in on that statement quickly denying it, rationalizing the rest, your state of denial may not permit you to see/say  otherwise... a very common attitude, and certainly here in Canada among both, the English and the French!
