Jiangsu Power Transmission and Transformation Corporation (JPTTC) was founded in year 1953. It is situated on the north foot of the Purple Mountain in Nanjing, and is the sole subsidiary of Jiangsu Power Corporation. JPTTC is state-owned large power construction enterprise capable of acting as an independent legal person with Grade I Certificate for Power Projects Construction Contracting issued by State Ministry of Construction. As one of the few enterprises under State Power Corporation that have the right to handle foreign business independently, JPPTC has constructed numbers of projects in over ten provinces in China, and in the countries of Pakistan, Bengal and Ghana.
