I went to Red Lobster yesturday and they had the cutest coasters. But it was the saying on them that really was unique. It said,:

Some people like to sit and ponder the ocean. Others, the coaster.

Is it a pun or something? What's a "coaster" to do with "ponder the ocaen"?

I'm guessing that it is a pun. Think of the "coast" as the land next to the ocean. Then think of the "coaster" as the small mat (to hold a glass) on the table of the seafood restaurant!

Thanks Nef. But what does "people sit and ponder the ocean' mean?
