They want to solve contemperory peoblems, using history and comparison with far long ago. I think, the reason that we havent any more person from god, if there were any, is that we can solve the problems and decide very well using reason. See all the wars around the world are by Foundamentalists. Bush(Neocons), Taliban, Vahabi, Salafi and much other.
