"There is no specific subject I want to talk about but I'd like to talk to anyone about anything in order to improve my English.  Expression (this isn't the right word, but I don't know what a better one would be) is the best and easiest way to learn any language.  Ok, for those of you who are reading this I want to tell you some information about myself like where I am from.  Ok, let's start from there.  I am from Saudi Arabia, to be exact, from a city called Taif but now I am living in the capital, Riyadh for my work.  I miss Taif but what can I do, that's life.  Sometimes you do things you don't want to.  Anyway, this is a brief description of my life just for practice."

Ok, I'll tell you a little bit about myself.  Not too much, because you never know what kind of weirdos are around!  My uncle was stationed in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War for Operation Desert Storm.  He used to be in the army when I was just a kid.  I remember he sent me a 5 riyal bill.  I still have it; not many opportunities to spend it here in Texas!  I live and work here in the capital, Austin.  How long have you been learning English?  It's very sad that other countries place so much emphasis on learning foreign languages while our education system just teaches the bare minimum.  I speak a little Spanish and am still working on becoming fluent.

First of all, hi and how are you also, thanks for correcting my paragraph. The second thing I'd like to say is I'm happy to read your reply to me.  I have question about why you are learning Spanish, what is the reason?  About how long I have been learning English? I have spent three years learning English by myself. I have encountered obstacles in a non-English environment even in the institutes for learning English the teachers mostly explain the grammar in Arabic.  Few institutes have classes with native English teachers to teach conversation. Now you may be wondering why don't I study in an English-speaking country?  The answer is that I simply don't have enough money for that and my English still not strong even though I have spent three years to learning it.

Finally, I'd like to say have a good day

I corrected your paragraph and I hope I got everything right.  I got a little bit confused about you were trying to say about the institutes in the middle.  In Texas lots of people speak Spanish so I would be able to communicate better with people who don't speak English.  But, the real reason is that my dad speaks Spanish.  All of my father's side of the family does.  I never wanted to learn as a child and now I regret it.  When I have kids I want them to be bilingual.  What kind of television programs do they have there?  Any in English?  Or any movies in English that you could rent?  I really should make more of an effort to learn Spanish by watching more Spanish television and movies.  I'm pretty new to this forum so I don't know if you have the ability to send me a message directly to my inbox.  But, then, maybe our conversation is helping other people learn.

Before anything, how are you now and how is your family? And I appreciate your cooperation with me. About my television programs I prefer dialogue programs regardless what the subject is. About my prefer films I prefer films talking about history and I prefer documentary films. The best film I watched is Brave heart, but there is new film I think it’s good regardless its story reality or not called Defiance I watched it before three days I recommending you to watch it.

Best wishes for you and your family
