115 kbit/sec and Audio-chat through Internet

Everybody in the place!

Bros and sisaz, I need your advice. If I have a channel 115 kbit/sec will it be enough for me to speak with anyone through Internet? Will sound be good enough I mean? I know that it would be not so good as it could be on higher speeds. But I have only 115 kbit/sec... Sad [:(]

P.S. What quality the microphone should be of? Could it be combined microphone and earphones? Or one need more qualitative mic?

115k (you probably mean 128) is fine

Any mic will do as long as it's made for a computer (thin gray things normally)

Thanks for info, hitchhiker! I will search for comfy mic and earphones. The idea of chatting on the web is very interesting. You can progress using it, don`t you?
