Nationalism should be inwards, not outwards. It is a feeling of unity with a group beyond one’s immediate family and friends. It’s not the hatred for the neighbouring countries. We love our family, but that do not mean neighbours pose a threat. We might not love all the global citizens, but we are always ready to help our fellow citizens anytime that is the true nationalism. It means being a selfless not a selfish.
