Korean Friends Wanted(For My Idol of Rain!)

that's sounds untrue because Song Hye Gyo is not in Hwang Jini as far as I know.  I've seen that drama and I don't remember her being in it. 

Actually Song Hye Kyo is the lead actress in the movie version of Hwang Jini.  Apparently there is something like three versions right now! Two T.V. and one Movie. It's because there were two books on Hwang Jini that were best sellers.  The T.V. version is ongoing right now (or it had just ended in Korea).  The tv version won a lot of awards including best actress.  (I don't like the t.v. female actress who played Hwang Jini.  She's really ugly and not a great actress in my opinion).  However now that the t.v. version girl won the best actress award.. the pressure is on Song Hye Kyo (SHK) to blow away audiences, the box office and all the critics.  Her first and previous movie My Girl and I did poorly and was panned by critics.  So her movie career and pride is riding on this next movie.  I really hope it surpasses everyone's expectations of it.  (Everyone already is anticipating it to be beyond excellent and it's not even finished shooting yet).   Hwang Jini is about a true historical famous Korean Gee-sengs. Gee seng is like a Korean higher standards version of the Japanese Geisha.  Geisha is a later development from the original Gee-seng.  I hope there is a lot of support for her new movie.  I think it comes out this spring in April or May.  Maybe even in the summer.  I with I could go to Korea just to watch it (several times with different people) and support her!  : ) 

Apparently Bi visited SHK last year too when she was studying english in Seattle.  He was in a different state training.  After Full House ended in 2004, the PD (director) requested that all the cast and all the staff members meet up for dinner once every two months.  Even though Bi and SHK were the closest to each other out of all cast members.. they got even closer during this once every two months meeting (but not just them.. SHK and that Hye Won character too).  They are all very close friends. Although Bi and SHK seems to be the closest still.  But Bi has a zillion beautiful celebrity and non celebrity girls throwing themselves at him. I think SHK would turn him down because he wouldn't be able to be faithful  for long even if he wanted to considering he travels with many of these girls and he's away a lot.  Those girls most likely wouldn't let him be.. even if he married SHK.

 

Hi! Thank's for the info. I really enjoy reading stuff about Rain and SHG. Anyway, I think I would have to agree with you regarding the real relationship between the two. Before, I was really wondering why the rumors between them have not died down in spite the series folding up a long time ago. There were lots of rumors that the two were secretly seeing when they were in the US. Now, it can really be told that it is true. Whatever the reasons are, both sides denied it. Well, now it makes sense that SHG probably still has reservations about BI since he is so famous (not only in Asia but even in US) a lot of women surrounds him. But I think she likes him too. It is just that it's harder for her to have a relationship with a guy who travels a lot. Poor SHG. We'll I still hope for a good ending though,...hahaha.

Anyway, hoping for more news about Rain and his concert, movies or tv appearance. Kudos! Aja!Aja! Fighting!

Hi, I'm Amy from Malaysia..I'm a big fan of Rain, I just watched "RAINS World Concert" in Malaysia, It was great & fantastic concert that I have been attended. He is in such great mood and always smiled, . I saw him after the concert and they went for the party celebration in the PUB, he looked tired & came back to the hotel with RED face. I think he drank a lot. 

I hope he will come again for another concert...while awaiting this happen... I'm planning to go to Thailand to watch his concert. If you all have not watch his concert before, pls do not miss it out..It's really great.
