Hi,

I found in a dictionary that labor of love besides work done not pursuing financial gain ,says that labor of love is  done to please someone else. How so ?

Or you do a lot a work to fix up your house. It's a lot of work... but you do it because you will be so happy with how the house looks aferwards. That's another type of labor of love.
