Here's the cat family that haunts my country house. They were taken with my friend's cell phone.

Ant,

Why do you say that they "haunt" your house? They're sooo cute!

The mama cat doesn't behave the right way: she never forces her kids to get off her territory. Now three generations of kittens live with her. They constantly beg us for food, which we have to buy to keep our hearts from breaking... Some of the kittens drowned in our vessel with rain water, some of them were brought away by my father. Once he even took the mother, put her in the car and let her out far away. But he couldn't help taking her back two days later (he found her at the same place).

And, BTW, all the kittens, as distinct form their mother, are completely wild, and if you want to catch one of them, you'll need at least two people to surround it, a piece of fresh meat to use it for bait, and a lot of patience to wait until the kittens loose some of their watchfulness so you can catch them! And if, for some reason, the first attempt fails, none of them will let you approach them close enough and will quickly hide under the house or in the nearby thicket of blackberry, which is a safe shelter for them because it is very thorny. And they will be extremely careful until the next day...

They actually do us nothing bad except conducting demonstrations in response to us trying to shorten their food supply. Plus the mother, when hungry, starts assaulting our house from all quarters, so we have to keep all the window leafs close to prevent invasion.

Who said the cat is not a gregarious species?
