Sir,

I -------- here for last two years ago.(work).

I have to fill up the blank with given verb in the bracket.

1.I worked here for last two years ago.

2. I have worked here for last two years ago.

Which one is correct?

Thanks.

"for last two years ago" is not English. Please check again. I think you may have copied this incorrectly. Be sure to write it exactly as it is in your book. Thanks.

They are both correct. Out of context, the second choice makes more sense immediately, but both are OK.
