Hello everyone that wishes to become fluent in English,

My best suggestions to become fluent in english are to watch english tv shows and movies (you can change the languages on dvd's, so that is very useful), read english stories, and read english newspapers. This helps you to think in English eventually.

I had the same problem when learning Spanish; I got nervous in front of my spanish-speaking friends, and basically refused to speak because I freaked out. But then I realised that the only way to really learn it is to get out of your "comfort zone", and just speak with them. I'm sure they'll appreciate your trying to learn their language, and they will help you out. Just don't be shy.

Well, my presentation tomorrow is about how to improve your English through media, internet, ... Etc. I've read some of your replys and I found it very useful for me to present. Anyway, for me as an Arabian guy, I used to focus on watching movies alot, reading English stories, talking to those people who talks it fluently... many ways I did to improve my language.

Thanks to everyone who posted any comment on this important issue.

Morad.
