Speak English  +  149423 Wed, 19 Oct 05 11:21 AM

To be a fluent speaker, you must first have good english pronounciation, speak slowly, don't be shy and just speak.  Learn to correct yourself and try to talk like your english speaking friends

Dear Neethu, How are you,

I read your message accidentally while surfind the net.  You wanted to know as to how you can improve your english or as to how to speak english fluently.  I would like to give you some tips regarding this  :-

1.       Always think in english.  The most important impediment that comes in our way of speaking english fluently is our native language.  I don't know whats your native language.  Whatever it is, just stop thinking in that.

2.       Try to improve your vocabulary and try to know as many new words as possible alongwith their usage from any of the sources including newspapers, books etc.

3.       Always keep a diary with you  and whenever you find any new word, enter it alongwith the sentence as to how the word was used.  Usage is more important.  Then try to find its meaning.  After that try to make your own sentences.

4.       Try to have as many friends as possible who speak english - does not matter if they are not speaking englilsh fluently.

my email id is rat05@indiatimes.com .  You want any help I am ready for that.

Don't be shy to ask for help

Bye
