I would like to know where and how much does an  ESL classe cost? My friend told me it would cost her $500 for a 3 month course in english. Is it that expensive? She is in Ho chi minh city.

Thank you,

"I think what you said is some cases in Vietnam, not all.it's true that the problems of teaching and learning English are existing. But everything is changing, and we can hope to have brighter future."

Smile [:)] Ok, guys. I really like your commons. I don't know whether it's true or not but It make me more confident to learn English in Vietnam. Actually, I don't learn at English Center like VATC or "anh van Hoi viet Mi"...etc. Nowaday, with internet and so many supporting equipments, there is a huge people learning English and they make me jealous about their English. And? as someone said: "always see on bright side". Smile [:)] (oh yeah, but I'm not always, infact Stick out tongue [:P]) we hope for a better English in Vietnam.

 Hello everyone,

I am a new member of this forum. I just happen to come across this website and have decided to join in. I am in the last year of Hue College of Foreign Languages majored in English. Happy to know that many foreigners are interested in coming to Vietnam to  teach English to the Vietnamese. I know there are some people who come from different countries such as America, Australia, New Zealand, etc teaching in the Department of Enlish in my school at the present. Any one who are interested in teaching English in Hue city, central part of Vietnam can contact with the Hue College of Foreign Languages. The students in Hue are very friendly and they love to learn English especially from a native English speaker. I hope you can make it to Hue city and teach here.

Sincerely,

Phuong Le
