Hi,

Standards and words for politeness vary greatly form one country to another. Where I live, I woudn't write this, but it's probably OK for where you live. You are the best one to decide.

As a general guide, I suggest that you should write it more or less the way you would say it to your boss, face to face. Then just add a little bit of extra politeness.
