War - peace - war - peace - etc. A war may be useful if its lesson is learnt. IMHO, if Japan hadn't had Hiroshima and Nagasaki, it wouldn't have become such a country of high technologies as it is now. The war discouraged them for a long time from fighting but made develop their country.  Every cloud has a silver lining. But do you know what is the most interesting? History shows that wars are useless, but as long as humans don't want to understand it, they are fated to pass through wars again and again, till they learn this lesson. A stupid circle, isn't it? Hope I haven't puzzled you with my point of view. If yes, here it is in other words: a war may be useful only when its lesson is learnt, and the lesson of wars is that wars are useless. Ruslana
