I{m going for exchange to berlin and they asked me to send a letter in english in which my professor allow me to go there. My proffesor doesn{t know english so he asked me to write it and he signs it, but I don{t know how to write it. How do I start it? It must be formal or informal? Do you have an example of this type of letter? Thank you a lot!

It does not sound as though they want anything complicated, just his permission for you to take part in the exchange programme.

Write the letter and we will check it for you.
