my name is thorben and i come from Germany. This year I want to start study International Facility Management in Netherland. For the application form I need to write an Letter of motivation. I have a lot of motivation but I don't know how to write that down. I started with the following:

My Motivation
to study
international Facility Management,
at Groningen.
I live in *** since my birthday together with my mother, father and brother. Here I passed my A-levels in 2003. In 2000/2001 I spend a year in the USA and went to Highschool there. That year was a big turn in my life. I became more selfconfident and independent. Since then I’m more open towards other people. Furthermore I’m very interested in new cultures and countries. I’m always looking for new challenges.
What do you want to do for a living? Since my childhood I have been asking myself this question. I was always interested in economic subjects. Therefore I decided to study something that has to do with this subject. This is the reason why I started a two-year apprenticeship at *** in 2004 to become a Business Specialist for Industrial Production and Sales.
As I look back I can say, this was the right decision. Due to the fact that I finally know what I want to do in the future – Facility Management. During my apprenticeship I got to know a company from it’s „inside“. And in this time I realized that need more than just a...

Is this way of writing a letter of motivation ok??? Or should I start all over again??? It would be great if you can give me some advice or suggestions how to write this letter.
