Don’t limit your challenges, challenge your limits.
This quotation of an unknown author reflects my pursuit of a continuous personal development.
In today’s fast moving working environment, it is more than ever necessary to be open minded, to have excellent understanding of foreign cultures as well as a founded knowledge of the English language.
I will work hard not miss any chance to enhance myself constantly and therefore I am going to study for one semester at the University of XXX.
I am XX years old and I successfully completed my basic studies of Industrial Engineering and Management back in the year of 2008 at the University of XXX. In a lot of intensive courses I have learned to connect and solve economical and technical questions. Actually I am able to apply and to prove my abilities in the Purchasing Department of the XXX in XXX, México.
During March 2008 I visited the London School of Economics and the University of Sussex. The impressions I got from the style of education were overwhelming. The structure of the courses is quite different compared to the education in Germany. Beside the theoretical subject matter, one point is the open discussion about economical problems, questions and solution. All the more these experiences are enforcing my intention to study in XXX.
The University of XXX is an evolving and innovative university with a growing reputation for excellence in education. Its international orientation offers a lot of courses which are built on the courses at University XXX. The university is focusing on applied research. That means, on the one hand I am able to learn something new and on the other hand I will enlarge my proficiency and become a well trained Industrial Engineer.
Pointing on economical aspects, as part of the United Kingdom, England is a major centre of world economics and one of the world's most highly industrialized countries. I am glad to get a direct insight into the prevalent form of research methods. That will help me to understand profound and complex themes which have to be solved by an Industrial Engineer.
My personal aim is to prepare myself for a position on an international level and therefore I am looking forward to your support.
Yours sincerely,
