Does anyone have anything to add to the following answer.

1. Explain how to structure a literary essay.

A literary essay is structured in this manner an introduction, a body, and a conclusion.  The introduction is the beginning portion of the essay introducing the main characters and/or point of view.  Additionally, the thesis is stated whereas the author describes his or her viewpoint or argument discussed in the writing.  The body is the bulk of the essay in which the information is presented to the reader outlining the point of view.  Supporting evidence of the thesis is presented emphasizing the subtext, structure, and style.  The conclusion is the final part of the essay that acts as a closing point for the literary work clarifying any questionable aspects of the information presented in the essay.  The thesis is usually restated here and the author justifies his or her argument.
