I have a very long English word that I think it can be brought into debate. Enjoy it and then give me your comments:
antiestablishmentarianism
- the doctrine of opposition to the social and political establishment

I think what they mean by no repeating letters is, Aaron, like doubled or linked letters.

Though pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is a long word, it is not in the OED, 'official' dictionary of the English language. The same goes for those other chemical compounds that have been mentioned. The longest word in the OED is floccinaucinhilipilification, the action or habit of estimating as nothing, and it is rather a 'nonsense' word.

Main Entry: pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
Function: noun
Definition: supposedly the longest word in a dictionary, an artificial word said to mean a lung disease caused by the inhalation of silica dust.
Artificial word?
Interestingly enough, hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia means 'fear of long words'.
