Hi,

I am looking forward to (meet / meeting)? you

Only 'meeting' is correct.

You look forward to something. eg

I am looking forward to your visit.

I am looking forward to meeting you.

Best wishes, Clive

"I am looking forward to" is always followed by a noun.i.e. "weekends". If you replace "weekend" with a verb noun (gerund), then it is "meeting".  example: I am looking forward to starting my new job.

I have a similar question but with a noun instead of a verb. Is this senctence correct:

"I am looking forward to the interview."

"I am looking forward to the interview."

That is perfectly correct.

hix, hix, we do not know why, it is just a way of English saying:

I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING YOU.

Let's think, normally, after "TO", it often somebody or somewhere. So I think simply it should be "doing st", and it sound an event right?
