I'm on a cultural mission. I'm hoping to stop a trend in English, that has arisen because of computer keyboards.
In the old, old, old days, when I was young, there was a mysterious, charming and strangely appealing letter that, whilst not officially in the alphabet, was still used. It was from the Latinisation of ancient Greek, where some words come from, and was basically the letters A and E stuck together. It was a romantic throw back to the old world. i am trying to prevent this letter from being eradicated, and its beauty lost forever. Aesop's Fables wouldn't be the same if written by Esop!
It occurs in the traditional spelling of the word paedogogy, and as displayed, can be typed as a followed by e (just as the umlauts in German can be replaced by an e).
Pedagogy is perfectly acceptable, but so is paedagogy.
This is just for me and no criticism of any person or teacher is meant by my request. I just want to keep the romance of the language alive.
