And it'll be ungrammatical, too, in case that's of any concern!

Well, you know that in "my grammar" what sounds good is grammatical, and what sounds odd is not! Wink

If you don't have a sense of humor already, it's about time you buy one.

I thank everybody for the excellent comments.

Yes, generally speaking the names of the operating systems are proper nouns.

All my computers (including the one I am writing) are UNIX based. I like open source very much and I have been working with them for more than 10 years. Money is above everything in the world. So Microsoft programs are always on top all over the world.

If you don't know how the Microsoft Servers work, you will run into problems in the labour market. I would say about 50% of the servers are from Microsoft. Most of the companies embraced Microsoft Server programs.

I must learn Microsoft Windows 2008 Server. They allow you to download and try for 240 days free of charge.

I would not write that I like 'the Linux, the Solaris, the Windows, etc.

I like Linux, Solaris, Windows, etc.

It should be Microsoft Windows 2008 Server. Even Microsoft writes 'Windows 2003 Server' and Windows 2008 Server'

I am not good at parsing. As a matter of fact I am an idiot in parsing. I would say parsing is my Achilles heel.

I must learn how to parse.

I believe the words 'apples' , 'your car' and 'swimming' are objects in the above sentences. Please tell me if I am wrong.

Hi

Rotter again here.

Nobody has seen my latest question. I hope Cool Breeze or someone else will read my latest question.

Yes, they are objects. I think the moderators would prefer you to start a new thread when you have a new question that has nothing to do with the question asked in the first post.
