Hello
Would you help me with the following sentence?
1) Virgo means intelligent.

When I talk about the birth sign, can I say 1) according to the character of each sign?
I think 'mean' should be followed a noun.  Should I change 'intelligent' to 'intelligence'?
I feel this will change the meaning of the sentence.
I'll be happy to get some comment.

Thank you.

Hmm.  Not really an easy question to answer, because astrologists have their own way of talking about the zodiac, etc.  However, I don't think they would use means.  I suggest some possibilities:

Virgos are intelligent
A Virgo has intelligence.
Intelligence is influenced by the constellation Virgo.
Intelligence is under the sign of Virgo
.

I am out of my depth here-- I don't actually know what a sun sign has to do with a personal quality.  All the Virgos I know are rather ditzy.
