redkiddy,

I think you may be hearing people say something that sounds like "wuddiz that mean?" or "wudduz that mean?". The vowel before that "z" sound is often very indistinct, especially in fast speech. The written form of that group of sounds is "What does", not "What is". I hope that makes sense. Smile [:)]
