When we say some is back in action after a brief illness, I understand we say 'feet on toes'. I would like to know the meaning and usage. Hope I'm clear in my question

Your question is clear, Yessel, but I have never heard that phrase. When someone is back in action after an illness, we say that
s/he is back on his/her feet
.
