What is the meaning of "so" in this expression:

 

"...or such other address as a party may in writing designate. Every Notice so given shall be deemed to be received on..."

 So means "in the manner as described."

It refers to a particular way that the notice must be given, that is, within a certain time period, in a particular format, addressed to a particular person, etc.
