Means of information?

Hello,

one more thing. Can we say "means of information"? like there is means of communication, or means of transport. eg. can we say: Internet is the means of information?

Hmm, sounds a little strange, but I think you can. 'Means of acquiring/sharing information' would sound better.

You can say "means of informing" as in, the internet is a means of informing the public...
