I am a about to begin a project in Leuven on teaching Medical English, Information on the EU's book would be helpful. I currently live in Brussels and would like more information on the topic. Thank you.

Usenet is like a herd of performing elephants with diarrhea - massive, difficult to redirect, awe-inspiring, entertaining, and a source of mind-boggling amounts of excrement...

I could not register. The dialogues and cartoons can't be viewed yet, can they? I'm eager to check it out. To what E mail adress can I write a personal letter to you Hitch? Not a confession, don't be afraid.:)

I am not presently a member but am very interested in your medical english course for use in Afghanistan with a group of med students in the last years of medical college. Would your course be appropriate?

I spent some time examining the site closely. Excellent. Congratulations Hitch, also to the whole team. I still couldn't watch the cartoons yet.

Hey Pieter, thanks for that; it's been a looooonnngggg haul..

We've got a lot of 'filling' to do now, we're hiring a bunch of teachers to add a few thousand more exercises. We've also got some more work to do on the cartoons.

Did you have technical problems with the toons?

Hi! I have a couple of workbooks available specifically for English for Nurses and Medical Personnel. I am a Nursing Instructor and a qualified ESL teacher here on the West Coast of Canada. Visit my website at www.nursingesl.com and check out the Message Board and Products page for information about my course and workbooks.

You might also be interested in my on-line course at www.e4on.ca . English for Overseas Nurses is an on-line course offering very career-specific, technical and colloquial language related to the health professions.

Feel free to contact me with any questions. I'd love to help if I can.
