In fact, 30 minutes of English study once a day is
better than 5 *hours* once a week! Study regularly.
Study often.

LITTLE + OFTEN is better than LOT + SOMETIMES.

It's easier, too. You can easily find 30 minutes each
day. How? You can get up 30 minutes earlier. Or have a
shorter lunch break. Fix a particular time every day -
and keep it!

You give good advice, Samkee. Why didn't you list them in a single thread?

That's interesting. It's a good advice, but what about mood? There are days when you don't feel like learning English and they say that you better don't make yourself. Maybe we should do breaks sometimes? And do you follow your rule?

As for me, I used to learn English 30-40 minutes a day, yet these days I have to study 1,5-2 hours a day. The exam is coming! AA! Save My Soul!! (SMS hehehe).

Everything has exception. That is just a common suggestion for you to understand.

The best way to ovecome the problem of mood is to set your study schedule by the week instead of by the day; for example, you can decide to study for 10 hours this week, or for 6 days this week, instead of tying yourself down to, say,Tuesday mornings from 10-11 a.m., for when Tuesday comes you may not be in the mood. This way, you study at any time of day, and on any day that you want to, as long as you have met the 10 hours, or the 6 days, by the end of the week. Normally, it is best to study at the same time each day to form the habit, but if you know what your moods are like, then you can use this method of setting the number of hours by the week instead of daily, and you will feel better knowing that you accomplished your goals.
