Hip hop today is an incredible force upon American youth and even beyond on a global level. Hip hop and rap has created entirely new industries such as the hip hop jewelry genre, upgraded the look of the common drinking cup to the majestic looking pimp cups, has virtually created a new and expanding language, and have even affected the automotive industry with such bold customizations as large spinning bling bling wheels and transformed fashion and clothing in an unprecedented way and so much more. Hip hop brought us Tupac, which is in my opinion the unequaled best rapper of all time. I loved Tupac while h was alive and still do after death. Biggie is also dead and he is nowhere near as popular as Tupac. Mostly any Tupac song has that special something that makes no rapper has ever come close to, EVER! Tupac is by far the most influential and powerful man in both hip hop and rap. Word to your mother.

 i really do not think that lil wayne is the worst rapper ever. i do agree however that he is a bit overrated, but then again, who couldnt be blown away by someone who took his genre in a whole different direction, lil wayne has started a new trend, he made over 200 songs in the last year, and instead of putting them on albums, he just puts them on the internet, who wants to wait 6 months for an album when you can get it in a few weeks? yes this was probably done before, but not to this extent. lil wayne is revolutionizing the way music is heard. half of his material isnt on itunes. the best way to find it is probably going on www.datpiff.com hes the most popular artist downloaded off it. its nuts! and yes i admit he is by far not hte best lyricist. but he must be doing something right to get all the attention he has gotten, in the last year he has absolutley blown up, i'm just saying he is not the worst rapper alive, and maybe he doesnt deserve all the recognition he's getting. but with amazing reviews from rolling stone, ***, and vibe magazines, he must be doing osmething right.

and papoose did this waay before lil wayne...probly had 500 songs each year, flooded the mixtape market, still has no album...he just didnt sell out like lil wayne did
