Hello, I wrote this letter for international studies..I'd be very thankful if somebody could correct grammar and style in this letter. Thank you in advance :)
I have always been fascinated about computer impact in our daily life. In this twenty first century no business organization can imagine its existance without computer related systems. I believe that as years go by this impact will become more and more significant not only in business organizations but also in everyone‘s life. I am convinced this degree would provide me with all the necessary information and skills I need to build an attractive career opportunity in my life and become a really competent specialist in computer science.
I have decided to relate my life with computers when I was about 16 years old. I was reading books, trying to build my first own web sites using HTML. Subsequently, I discovered more complex programming languages as Java and others. All these years I kept learning new things and improving myself. Therefore, I studied IT and Maths in A level and was given highest marks. After I finished high school, I decided to take a gap year and go to United Kingdom to improve my language skills. During this year I gained invaluable life experience and skills that I believe will be more than useful in my future career.
During my academic years in gymnasium I was active in its social life. I even was a member of my gymnasium‘s parliament. This taught me to be a valuable team member in variuous situations as well as helped me to develop critical thinking when making important decisions. Fortunately, I had an excellent opportunity to express myself as a personality and I am very grateful to my teachers for helping me to understand what I really want in my life.
In my spare time, apart from computers, I am keen on taking photographs, playing my guitar, reading various books. I also like to play football, basketball. I played football for 6 years and was a candidate for Lithuania‘s Junior National Football team. I assume I am a responsible, motivated and hard working person who believes that these two elements are the key to success in everyone‘s career.
Studies at your University, I believe, would definitely be successful step towards my future career and enable me to meet many new and interesting people from around the world as well as participate with them in interesting disputes during lectures. Competitive lecturers and even more competitive academic atmosphere – that is exactly what I am looking forward to. Great Britain has the finest reputation for its higher education around the world. That is why i prefer to build my career here instead of Lithuania.
Thank you for considering my application and I am looking forward to your positive reply.
