Hi everyone,
I'm new here and I want to apply for a job in consultancy or management. It is going to be sort of a career change but not really a complete career change. I'm writing a motivation letter but don't seem to get it right or don't know :( could you please correct this one and give me ideas and feedback about what i should write in? The reason i want to leave my current job is there is no career development for me there and i don't want to loose my skills with no development. same time i don't know how to put that down in the motivation letter

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing in regards to ……………position offered at your …………. I am a candidate worthy of consideration. I have an excellent engineering education. I have been on diverse engineering and IT courses that broaden my technical background in a number of fields. I have a track record that clearly demonstrates my qualifications. You will certainly find this clear from my application.

I have the traits required to be a successful ..(consultant or manager depend on job). I can bring along managerial experience from the time I owned my business. I can also bring technical expertise, initiative, hard working, team player, creative but realism thinking, methodological problem solving skills and above all can establish and maintain excellent client relationship.

I am not just looking for a job; I am looking for a company where I can flourish. A continuous mental challenge is a must to stretch my abilities and drives me to thrive. I have the attitude of “do what it takes”. I am looking for a place where career development is well defined. I believe that your company rewards these traits and values.

I would like to thank you in advance for your time and any consideration you may give me. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
