Motivation letter for a Crepuq scholarship

Dear Sir or Madam,

            With this letter, I would like to submit my application for the Crepuq Scholarship Program for studying in an University from Quebec during the academic year 2007-2008.

I would like to continue my education at an institution of higher education from Canada, in order to learn more about the structure and organization of a company, economical processes in general, global economic coherences and communications, new cultures thought a North-American perspective, but also to improve my  English economic vocabulary.

 I have always endeavoured to do my best and learn as much as possible. I have started my  universitary classes in Romania where I have successfully obtained high marks in most of the courses with an overall of 9.40 over 10 in the first two years. In addition to this, I won the First prize on the Economic Student’s Research Session in April 2005, section: Financial Management of the Firm.

 I have continued my education in the University of Social Sciences in Toulouse, where I have obtained a BA Degree in Economics, specialisation in International Economics, Money and Finance (with honours).Even if I have already began my master degree in France, I think that  the chance of studying in your University is a unique opportunity to increase my knowledge and to live a very enriching  experience.

In addition to my academic activities, I have also had the chance to take part in many social volunteer activities which gave me experience in working with young people from all over the world.

Thereafter I want to use the acquired knowledge to continue in a masters program of finance, aiming to be well prepared to enter the business world. My long-term goal is to work for an international company in the financial field, bringing in new ideas and an efficient working style gained through my higher education gained in Romania, in France and hopefully in Canada.

 I am confident that with my strong motivation, my personality and with an academic experience in an international and multicultural environment, I will have a solid foundation for a successful and fulfilling career, in which I plan to weld relationships across cultures and ensure that intercultural communication takes place effectively.
