Motivation letter, Mechanical Engineering, correction

Thank you very much for your fast reply. At the recommendation of Prof. Dr. Franz Magerl, dean of the University of Applied Science Amberg/Weiden, I am seeking for a six month internship in the field of R&D or Quality Management at your company in China. I am currently a fifth year student of Mechanical Engineering at the “Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen Nürnberg”. In my advanced studies, I have specialized in Integrated Product Development and Quality Management/ Metrology.

Over the last few years Bosch highly expanded in the Asian/Pacific market and built up three huge Research and Development centers. Because I have the intention to start my career abroad -especially in the Asian area- I would like to get hands on experience by a potential employer on site. Furthermore, Bosch is known for his excellent internship program. Therefore I expect to gain useful experience from an occupation under the construction of your engineers and to support your colleagues goal- directed.

In particular, I have great interest in researching topics concerning product development, experimental tests and Quality Management. Due to my work as a tutor for the Chair of Design and my first seminar-paper, I have gained experience in Product Design and Development. In the second seminar paper I am getting hands-on experimental design and investigations in press-hardening. I would find it very attractive to work in the branches of Automotive Equipment or Automotive Parts, but I am open to any suggestions you may have that could be to the benefit concerning your company.

I will be available from the beginning of July this year.
