Hey, all. I had to write this Cold war thingy for school. I couldn't be bothered making it good, I just want the punctuation to be perfect. So if anyone could just take a look at how i've done, that would be great. I would be really greatful if someone could correct my mistakes. Basically I just has to write diary entries written by an American and a Russian in order to show the feelings of both sides, or some shit like that.


USA

Dear Diary,

My name is Alex Mann and I’m seventeen years old. I come from South Park, Colorado. I have decided to start writing in you ‘cause of what’s happening in the world today. World War Two came to a finish a few weeks ago. I was so scared that I was going to be called up for duty, but luckily I wasn’t.
Diary, the world seems to be changing so much after everything that’s happened in the last seven years, and I just don’t know what to do. Germany has been divided up into four different sections, where America, England, France, and Russia are all getting a slice. I’m also worried about Russia trying to turn all these countries communist. I don’t want communism to take over the world, Diary!


Russia

Dear Diary,

My name is Vas Goren and I’m nearly seventeen years old. I come from Kolgujev. I have decided to start writing a diary because of all the shit that’s happening in the world at the moment. World War Two is over.
The world is so different now after the war, and I just can’t stand it. I heard that Germany has been divided up into four different sections, and Russia, America, England, and France are all getting a quarter each. Hopefully sometime soon the world will stop fighting and realise that peace is the answer.
It was good writing to you, Diary. I’ll write again soon.

Dear Diary,

I just heard that the Berlin Blockade has now come to an end. The Soviets are so goddamn evil, Diary! I hate the fact that I can’t do anything about them. They’ve stopped sending food and supplies into West Germany because they’re so nasty. I hope someone drops a bomb on those bastards as soon as possible.


Russia

Dear Diary,

I am getting sick and tired of the USA thinking they can run the whole world. I am so pissed off about this goddamn Truman Doctrine. I cannot believe that England and France are actually on the Americans’ side. I swear to God that a bomb is going to be dropped on their sorry asses soon enough.

I have had enough of this communist bullshit, Diary! I can’t wait until we Americans show all the commie scum who kicks ass. I’m hoping that China won’t fall into Russia’s trap. There isn’t a chance we could kill that many gooks!


Russia

First America couldn’t just let us Russians live how we wanted to. But they couldn’t stop there… they had to go and involve themselves in a war that had nothing to do with them! The Korean War was between North and South Korea. I am so sick of the freakin’ yanks!
