I would need native English speakers' opinion whether these sentences are okay or not to write an essay. Please help me!
The sentences are the following:

"Although I wouldn't lend my books to Chris, I would my CDs to Helen."
"I would like to get to know him as I would you."
"Would you give John my regards? Of course I will Pete yours."
"I would take care of her as I would my children."

The sentences are the following:

"Although I wouldn't lend my books to Chris, I would lend my CDs to Helen."
"I would like to get to know him as much as I would like to get to know you."
"Would you give John my regards? Of course I will, Pete."  -yours
"I would take care of her as I would take  my children."  I will take care of her as if she were one of my children.

Dear Anonymous,

Even though I'm not a native speaker, above are my amendments to your sentences.

I will REALLY appreciate any corrections to my posts, whether it be grammar, glossary, or just something that could elevate my style. Thank you.

The sentences are the following:

"Although I wouldn't lend my books to Chris, I would my CDs to Helen." o.k.
"I would like to get to know him as I would you." o.k.
"Would you give John my regards? Of course I will Pete yours." This doesn't flow well.
"I would take care of her as I would my  own children."

"and I will give Pete yours" is better.

I'm not a native English speaker, but "Of Course I will Pete yours" sounds too odd.
