Please advise if the sentence below is grammatically correct. Does it need fine-tuning?

Being able to return to school to obtain a degree would definitely be an enormous shot in the arm for me.

There's nothing wrong with it.

I might suggest a substitute for "enormous":  significant, helpful, great.

"Obtain" might be replaced by "earn", which is a little more common.
