Hi...

I did a GOSSIP GAME with my students and it was very good to practice the Reported Speech.

One student needs to create a sentence and pass to the other. The second, that listen the sentence, needs to report it and pass to the next.

In the end, the last student needs to tell me the sentence in the reported speech form. Then I ask the the origial statement and we work with it. Looking if there's comething wrong in the reported sentence or  if it's ok.

It's an idea!!! I hope it helped you!!

I've got an idea about practicing the transformation from instructions to reported speech.

Make each student or pairs write one or two instructions on a piece of paper. Then they put all the pieces in a bag. Next one student draws a piece with an instruction. If he/she can transform it into a reportes speech sentence then he/she wins! If not, he/she has to perform that action from the instruction. If he/she does it well enough for other students to guess what he was told to do, then he is saved.
