Hi,I would liek some help with English.Recently,I wrote to a friend and at the end of my email i wrote him

'While thanking you in advance,I hope to hear from you soon'.

My friend then replied to my email.Should I tahnk him back for his reply.I am asking you because whne i sent him the email I thanked him in advance.

Sure!  Just write, 'Thanks again for your reply'.

Your first sentence could use a little modification, though:  'I hope to hear from you soon, and thank you in advance for replying'.
