'm taking a english correspondence course and this was one of my exercises. I'd like to know if I'm on the right track or not.   thanks.

N. I make it a point to read the new york times every day and the new yorker every week only rarely howerver do I get around to time or newsweek

Q. Should one judge candidates from the speeches they make? From the printed matter they distribute? Or from the ideas they generate?

R. To be a millionaire by the time you are thirty you will have to: take large risks be lucky and have creative ideas

S. Enjoy the view we called out as they left for the mountaintop we had wisely decided to wait for them in meadow halfway up

thanks. I had a few questions, or rather need clarification on a few things. “You can't do that”, they shouted from the balcony, “you can't, you can't.” ( Why is the comma outside the quote and not inside it?)

“Enjoy the view”, we called out as they left for the mountaintop. We had wisely decided to wait for them in the/a meadow, halfway up. (the same with this one?)

 I make it a point to read the New York Times every day and the New Yorker every week. Only rarely, however, do I get around to Time or Newsweek. (Don't you usualy place a ; whenever there is a "however" being used?)
